Ashlee Tatum is a graduate of the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage. She has practiced in Hawaii and California since 2007 and is certified in both states. She is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and holds a BA in Political Science from UCLA and a MA in Buddhist Studies from the University of South Wales.
Through her work in chiropractic, physical therapy and acupuncture clinics, in addition to indulgent resort spas, she has a broad knowledge of techniques and is comfortable working in all circumstances. She welcomes clients with disabilities, those who are wheel-chair bound or prefer chair massage, elite athletes, pregnant moms, people who are discouraged by their discomfort or any sweet soul seeking wellness.
She is skilled in a range of modalities with an emphasis on therapeutic bodywork through trigger point and lomi lomi techniques. She holds a strong belief in the importance of the mind body connection and how that can be facilitated through massage, breath and movement.
